IPMinder

IPMinder is a simple menubar item for macOS that displays the IP address of your chosen network interface. I use it for development when I need to pull up dev servers from mobile devices.

Features

  • Runs in the menubar for quick access.
  • Left clicking the IP Address will toggle display of the full IP address or just the last octet.
  • Right clicking displays IP addresses of all active network interfaces.
  • Radio buttons allow switching displayed IP Address, when multiple interfaces are active.
  • Each iterface includes a copy to clipboard icon button.

Installation

To install IPMinder, follow these steps:

  1. Download the ZIP file from the link above.
  2. Unzip the file to extract the application.
  3. Move the application to your Applications folder.
  4. Launch the application and grant any necessary permissions.
  5. (Optional) Add to your login items so it starts automatically.

Usage

Once installed, IPMinder will run in your menubar. Click on the icon to view the IP addresses of your active network interfaces.
